What is your primary product or service?
Cost effective products, service, and consulting for land and water stewardship, including pond and lake management, open space management, forestry, wetlands development and construction, wildlife habitat restoration and native prairie restoration. We sell erosion control products, lake and pond management products, topsoil, hydroseeding supplies, seed, fertilizer, erosion control blankets, stormwater products, lake and pond management products for algae and weed control and bacteria for sediment reduction. In addition, under www.mosthighadventure.com, we outfit groups for canoe and kayak outings and camping excursions.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
By growing up near Lake Monroe and having a fascination with aquatic biology, environmental science, and water recreation.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
First of all we are extremely familiar with Monroe County having lived here 48 years. We have tried it all with regard to products and techniques for land and water resource management. We know what works and what does not. We have vast experience, and never stop learning, researching and trying new products and techniques, as the state of the science evolves.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
One locally with plans to expand into the western US

Take St. Rd. 37 north of Bloomington to Wylie Road. GO east on Wylie to Old St. Rd. 37 and turn south. Proceed 3/8ths of a mile south on old 37 to the first driveway on the left. Here we are located at the Big Rock Farm.
